Dr Anagha Sardesai MBBS, MRCPsych, PGCE (Med Ed) is a highly-skilled Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist.
Upon receipt of GP referral she is pleased to offer consultations for:
- mental health problems such as anxiety, depression, OCD, phobias, PTSD and other stress-related problems in children only
- specialist diagnostic assessments for ADHD/ADD and ASD in children and adults
Dr Sardesai is fully licensed to practice by the General Medical Council and is on the GMC’s Specialist Register. Her GMC number is 5200202. She is also a registered member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
Dr Sardesai trained initially as a medical doctor in India and has worked in the NHS since 2000. She completed her basic and specialist training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry as well as Psychiatry of Intellectual Disability on the Cambridge rotation taking up Consultant Psychiatrist position in 2016. Until January 2022 she worked as a lead psychiatrist in the local NHS team for children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders.
She is skilled in assessment for ADHD/ADD and ASD/Asperger’s in children, adolescents and adults. She continues to work in the NHS for part of the working week as a substantive consultant psychiatrist in the service for neuro-disabilities in addition to her private practice.
Dr Sardesai is an approved provider for AVIVA, Healix, CIGNA, BUPA and WPA insurance. As insurance policies do not provide a uniform level of cover please do check with your insurer if they cover the assessment you are seeking and to what extent.
