Wai is a therapeutic counsellor with extensive experience in working with issues such as aerophobia, anxiety, depression, bereavement, relationship problems, identity, sexuality, self-esteem issues, and survivors of abuse.
She is a qualified counsellor, holding a BA in Humanities and a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.
Wai is passionate about helping you navigate life’s challenges. She aims to build a trusting and engaging relationship, preparing you to reflect on your life and experiences to bring about change and progress. She works integratively, meaning she adapts her approach to collaborate in a way that feels best for you, keeping your choices at the heart of the process. As we are all unique, with varying life paths, needs, and behaviours, this approach will differ for everyone.
Clients seek counselling for many reasons, from a desire to process specific life events (past or present) to a yearning to better understand themselves and their relationships, or perhaps a sense of listlessness about where or who they are now. Together, we can find your way back to yourself.
It takes real courage to reach out, and it would be an honour to walk alongside you on your journey.
